Question

Why is it that everyday meat tastes like everyday meat but the meat from the goats slaughtered at Eid ul Adha tastes very, very different?? Almost to the point of it-tastes-gross different?

I considered adrenaline rushes and other hormone triggers (yes I have been watching House, how did you guess??) but then the every day goats have them too! Does anyone know?

Also, Eid Mubarak people!

  1. It tastes that way because its too fresh. We leave ours to drain for half a day before we cut the meat so it never has that weird smell

  2. It has to be about it being too fresh for us,and the blood bit has to be the reason,so i am agree.

@Alta: Now that the mystery is solved I can peacefully give up qurbani ka gosht :P
@Osama: You eat that charbi thing, whose name I cant recall and so thou art gross! I will give you my hissa ok :D

  5. It tastes different since it is from an animal that has been sacrificed not slaughtered.
