  • happy birthday beta. umm. 23 was… i think i was working and finishing up nca. yeah. so for me there was a lot of decision making. got a degree, what next. mom said do CSS. i freaked at the idea of a lifetime committment to a career. so i went to lums instead :)
23 was nice. i wasnt young, and i wasnt old.
23 was also a lifetime ago.

I was not because if it was you wouldn’t be the person i know and love!

  • also, you have a very “mallu” title… “tell me…(head wobble)”

    (wobble wobble) true…

  • Hmm. 23…. That was the year life got extremely crazy at home – was working in Pk at an office two minutes from that hotel that keeps getting blowed up, my car got stolen, stuff was crazy with the famoree, and my dad suggested we move to the UAE so I started hunting for a job. I joined That Newspaper, moved to Sharjah, and became a reporter. So I guess it was a stressful year – the last one of my simple life. I growed up fast from 24 to 26.

and became Owl It sounds stressful but knowing you it would’ve been fun too!

  • Still six months to go before I turn 23. So umm…why don’t know tell me how 23 is like when my time comes around?

    Now i feel old!

  • It was fun being 23..was taking loads of new pictures..got my first sony ericsson mobile..cricket was in full swing & was dreading about my final semester project:S
ermmmm what else..let me think..life was good infact..was feeling much better about myself after going through tough times & was looking ahead towards a bright future..thats it i guess: )

I hope the cricket and pictures are still fun :)

  • you’ve been tagged.

  • Happy Birthday (in advance?).

My 23rd year was very good – finally got a good, settled job with lots of opportunities to progress, started having money, bought my first brand new car, went vacationing in 13 different states of the USA …

I’m going to count each state as one vacation so 13 vacations in one year!!!!!!! Seriously lucky dude!

  • Happy belated birthday! I hope your 23rd year is unique and beautiful and blessed :)

Mine was THE most important of my life thus far; I got married to a wonderful man and for the remaining of the year, felt like I was dreaming :)

Thank you! It’s been a very long time since you were here, I had no idea you were blogging again!!

  • woah haleem you were one lucky son of a gun:S

  • 23 was the best year of my life. Got married! Woohoo! 24 however was kinda boring so enjoy 23 as much as you can (in case your 24 is similar to mine) :D

Liya, I think its going to be similar in that context so yes I will try to have fun this year so that I can act grown up next year

  • Got married, got drafted, got an apartment in Albuquerque, found a hot springs, lie in hot water, meet a traveling hitch-hiker, invite him for duck dinner, take him and girlfriend to the mountains to live, leave Albuquerque for tigerland. . . .
    You had to remind me!!

    Sorry, i think….

  • 23rd was so long ago, I have only faded memories left. I fell in love with a girl, that I thought was going to be mine forever. She felt similar about me at the time, or so I thought. She changed to something I still can’t understand and she started avoiding me and spent all her time with douchebags and street rats and I stayed in college for many more hours than I would have, just for her. Spent my 23rd year chasing that woman who was never supposed to be mine. She found her man a while later, a lowlife jobless scum-of-the-earth loser. Mistake of my life. I look back and think, Wow! I made it through those problems. I can make it through life. And I am still alive and never been better.

Hopefully mine will be less painful! Good to see you bounced back.

  • can we please progress from the 21st birthday!
    Where are you?

Um at home with you?? Also 23rd birthday!

  • so gathering the experiences before the year actually ends ;) good idea :P

  • 23rd year of my life was pretty cool. It was an year in which I learned how it feels:

    - to lose
    - to have absolutely nothing
    - to be without hope
    - to have no meaning in life
    - to keep sinking more and more into problems

I learned how there was nothing that mattered, to know that there is nothing I’m excited about, there’s nothing good waiting for me in future.

I am thankful that I learned all those things in the 23rd year, because now life is SO much beautiful that I pray that more and more people can live the life that I’m living presently.

    Good luck to you ;)
